I need to find a computer technician in Boston?
I need to find a computer technician in Boston that can clean out the underside of the keyboard on my laptop so the keys aren’t sticky and dirty. If you know anyone who could do this, please let me know.
I’m also in Boston, not exactly Boston proper, but … wanted to mention one major factor so You don’t hit future problems …
When You DO find a good Tech to go to, be positive it’s someone totally familiar with the brand and model specs infosheets or booklets for that laptop, here’s why …
There are some gels, lubricants, and thermal dissipation chemicals
that are supposed to be on an “etched board” (Longtime Geek-termed a “breadboard”).
And although most motherbaords are alike in general, there are subtle differences in each graphics chipset, audio chipsets, system memory, and other features that require those chemicals to operate either smoothly, or optimally.
I highy recommend NOT just getting someone who recently completed an A+ certificate course, especially after seeing how many people on Y! Answers post their test questions and get not only the answers given to them, but wrong ones.
